Connect your dealer accounts.
Search your own wholesale prices alongside public catalogues. Every user connects their own supplier accounts in Chrome.
Public catalogue search works without the extension. This beta does not yet offer Signal accounts, billing, cloud-saved price books or a Chrome Web Store installation.
1. Install the companion
- Unzip the download and keep the resulting folder on your computer.
- Open Chrome’s Extensions page from its menu: Extensions → Manage Extensions.
- Turn on Developer mode, choose Load unpacked, then select the signal-dealer-companion folder containing manifest.json.
- Return to Signal and refresh. You should see the “Your wholesale prices” panel with Companion 0.5.1.
Already installed? Replace the files in your existing companion folder, reload the extension in Chrome, then refresh Signal.
2. Sign into your suppliers
Use the Sign in buttons in the private dealer panel. Sign into each supplier normally, including any MFA, in the same Chrome profile. Never send your password to Signal or another user.
Supported connections: Australis, Ambertech, NAS, Jands, Sound Choice Pro, Titan AV, Swamp Industries, WES, Altronics and Eventec. Sennheiser is temporarily unavailable while its portal is under maintenance.
For Eventec, leave the signed-in Product Info tab open. The companion now runs its search automatically.
3. Search and compare
Return to Signal and search by description, model or part number. Dealer results appear in a separate private panel. Use its supplier, stock and price filters, and Load more to retrieve additional results.
Dealer connections currently use AU accounts and AUD. Public catalogue search supports Australia and New Zealand. Confirm GST, selling units, freight and availability at the supplier before buying.
Your data stays with you
The companion does not collect passwords or upload dealer prices. It reads catalogue pages using your existing browser sessions, holds results in memory and opens supplier tabs during searches. Closing or refreshing clears results. CSV price-book imports also stay in the current tab.
Public search terms are sent through this Cloudflare website to the selected suppliers. Supplier websites maintain their own logins and privacy practices. Other people cannot use your supplier sessions through the Signal link.
If a login expires, sign into that supplier again. If the companion disconnects, search again; after an extension update, refresh Signal. Unsupported suppliers can be searched using an authorised CSV export until a connector is added.
